SPIDER LABYRINTH
Also Known As
IL NIDODEL RAGNO
Directed by Gianfranco Giagni in 1988
Starring Roland Wybenga, Paola Rinaldi, Stephane Audran and
William Berger
Professor Alan Whitmore is sent to Budapest to find out why
a colleague working on an important worldwide research project
has made himself so scarce. The project involves translating
and understanding writing that is linked to an ancient religion
soon found to be much less dead than anyone suspected. The
followers know what the writing contains, the names of their
deities, and there are no measures too ghastly to protect
this secret. The world will know soon enough… Here is
an absolutely stunning supernatural horror film that is filled
with dark, color-accented, atmosphere. No surprise that this
has been compared to Dario Argento’s work on a number
of occasions. Lots of violent intensity and Sergio Stivaletti’s
F/X work is beyond amazing! Widescreen and uncut, this print
is in English language with Japanese subtitles.
STRIKE COMMANDO
Directed by Bruno Mattei (credited as Vincent Dawn) in 1986
Starring Reb Brown, Christopher Connelly, Alex Vitale and
Luciano Pigozzi (Credited as Alan Collins)
Michael Ransom is the leader of the Strike Commandos, an elite
group of soldiers sent in as a final option when all else
fails. When an operation goes bad it’s thought that
the team is finished, but Ransom survives. Attempting to make
his way back to safety, he discovers a crazed Russian soldier
whose purpose in the area is a mystery. He is sent back behind
enemy lines to gather proof and is captured. Ransom is not
a man they can break and when he gets his chance to strike
back against those that have deceived him, there’s gonna
be hell to pay! Brown is awesome here; he does some of his
best ever screaming and gun-waving sweeps. Connelly is fun
to watch as yet another cold-hearted bastard who is on Brown’s
bad side from the word go! There is also a very cool soundtrack
by Luigi Ceccarelli (credited as Lou Ceccarelli) that raises
the whole thing up a notch. An amazing amount of explosions
and interpersonal mayhem help this become one of Mattei’s
most entertaining action movies! Our import print is in English
with Japanese subtitles.
STRIKE COMMANDO 2
Directed by Bruno Mattei (credited as Vincent Dawn) in 1988
Starring Brent Huff, Mary Stavin, Richard Harris and Massimo
Vanni (Credited as Alex McBride)
Huff takes over the role of Michael Ransom in this sequel that
is even more violent and bloody than the first! An old friend
of Ransom’s, someone who saved his life during the war,
has been kidnapped and those responsible are asking for millions
of dollars in diamonds to return him. If the diamonds aren’t
delivered, Ransom’s old war buddy will be turned over
to the KGB, government secrets and all. Good thing Ransom has
a very spirited and capable woman on his side to help him with
the rescue attempt! The trouble is, things aren’t quite
as they appear behind enemy lines! Lots of fun as things blow
up, people are stabbed or shot, and we even get to see ninja’s
attack! Don’t miss the climactic fight scenes that are
all sped up Benny Hill style! This uncut print is presented
to you in the widescreen format! English language with Japanese
subtitles.
STRIKER
Directed by Enzo G. Castellari (credited as Stephen M. Andrews)
Starring Frank Zagarino, John Phillip Law and John Steiner
John Slade is veteran who must wage his own personal war in order
to rescue a friend who is being held hostage by communist evildoers.
The painfully generic plot would be just another reason to consider
this movie utterly dismissible if there weren’t a number
of things worth noting, starting with the director, cast, and
crew. For example, Umberto Lenzi and Tito Carpi, they wrote the
screenplay for this! Enzo’s daughter (Stefania Girlolami)
was even the assistant director! Also, the entire movie is essentially
one long and bloody action scene where the body count reaches
truly impressive proportions! There are a couple of surprise appearances
by recognizable performers as well. Finally, some of the lines
are just gems! If you’re a low budget Italian action/trash
fan then Striker is a pretty safe bet! The best part is that you
can now see it uncut and letterboxed in English language with
Japanese subtitles.
STUNT SQUAD
Also Known As
LA POLIZIA E SCONFITTA
Directed by Domenico Paolella in 1977
Starring Marcel Bozzuffi, Ricardo Salvino and Vittorio Mezzogiorno
A protection racket has the city living in constant fear but there
are those who feel they have been pushed too far! When several
of the victims come together with hopes of organizing so that
the extortion will stop, bombs begin to go off in phone booths.
After such an example it’s understandable that everyone
else is too afraid to act. There’s a cop, Grifi, who has
had enough! He forms an elite unit of undercover police specially
trained to deal with the terrorist tactics of Valli and his crew
of vicious criminals! This is no-holds-barred stuff from the first
scene! Very violent, even downright savage at times, Stunt Squad
is a hard-as-nails crime story that provides no easy outs for
anyone! And wait until you see the ending! The story is from Paolella
and Dardano Sacchetti, the soundtrack is by Stelvio Cipriani,
and the special effects are credited to Paolo Ricci! Italian crime
fans should not hesitate! This uncut print is in English language
with Greek subtitles.
SURVIVE!
Also Known As
SUPERVIVIENTES DE LOS ANDES
Directed by Rene Cardona in 1976
Starring Hugo Stiglitz, Norma Lazareno and Leonardo Daniel
In the later months of 1972 a plane crashed in the Andes Mountains
and those not killed went to the furthest imaginable extremes to
survive. This is that story. The focus is on the plight itself,
the business of living through the circumstances these unfortunate
people have found themselves in. Due to a miscalculation concerning
the plane’s course and equipment, the rescue parties are never
searching in the right place! When the weeks pass and the food runs
out those still alive must come to a horrible realization…
the only way they can go on is by eating the flesh of their friends
who have already died in the accident! This is a fantastic and gripping
film that has as many touching scenes as it has grisly ones; there
is no shortage of either. Survive is intense and unrelenting but
it is also hopeful and, in many ways, uplifting. For a long time
you could only see this highly recommended movie on late night cable
and that was often the cut version. We are very proud to make available
the exceptionally rare uncut print of this movie in English language
with Japanese subtitles.
TEX AND THE LORD OF THE DEEP
Also Known As
TEX WILLER E IL SIGNORE DEGLI ABISSI
Directed by Duccio Tessari in 1985
Starring Giuliano Gemma, William Berger, Flavio Bucci and Isabel
Russinova
This unique Italian western/action/adventure/fantasy hybrid is based
on a famous comic, features cool special effects, a nice cast, and
a rousing soundtrack. For the synopsis, paraphrasing the introduction
seems like the best way to go… “They say he came from
the North, like the icy wind that sweeps the prairies during the
great winter. Tex Willer. From the furthest reaches of the silver
mountains to the birth of the blue river, his name was spoken with
respect. Death rode at his side, ready to strike anyone who dared
violate the law of the white man, but his spirit soared free. It
knew no boundaries. And it came to pass that even the Indian tribes
learned to respect him and they gave him the name of Night Eagle.
History soon becomes entwined with legend in the lost time between
magic and reality. Let me tell you his story then, and of the adventurous
days which made him immortal.” A very rare title indeed, Tex
And The Lord Of The Deep is now available to you in English language
with Japanese subtitles.
THUNDER
Also Known As
THUNDER WARRIOR
Directed by Fabrizio De Angelis (As Larry Ludman) in 1983
Starring Mark Gregory, Bo Svenson, Antonio Sabato, Paolo Malco and
Valeria Ross
Mark Gregory stars as Thunder, an Indian who is just returning to
his hometown where he finds only an abundance of racism and anger
amongst the locals. When he defends an ancient tribal cemetery against
violation by a bunch of obnoxious construction workers, a pattern
of violence and retribution is set into motion that can not be undone!
And when those same construction workers go after his woman, Thunder
will “show the white man how an Indian fights”! The
plot is essentially a rough combination of First Blood and Billy
Jack, but the presence of Gregory always helps. Of course, there
is no shortage of action! Fist fights, car chases, and explosions
galore are scattered liberally throughout the movie! Francesco De
Masi provides the music. Other versions of this great action/cheese
classic run about 86 minutes, cut in order to fit onto budget tapes
while still accommodating trailers. This completely uncut print
runs 91 minutes! It’s available to you now in English language
with Japanese subtitles.
THUNDER 2
Also Known As
THUNDER WARRIOR II
Directed by Fabrizio De Angelis (As Larry Ludman) in 1985
Starring Mark Gregory, Bo Svenson, Karen Reel and Raimund Harmstorf
Although a sequel meant some major cast changes (as well as
some serious character reorganization) that wasn’t about
to prevent the team of Dardano Sacchetti and Fabrizio De Angelis
from bringing back everyone’s favorite half-Indian ass-kicker!
Remember the first movie? Remember how Thunder trashed the town
and destroyed so many people? Well, they must’ve liked
his style because he has just been made Deputy Sheriff! Now
working for Bo Svenson, Thunder proves himself to be an invaluable
bad ass right off the bat! Single-handedly capturing a group
of bank-robbers and even bitch-slapping a violent cross-dresser
into custody has put our hero on somebody’s “to
do” list, though. There is corruption in the police force
and Thunder has managed to upset the flow of things a little.
He is subsequently framed for murder and locked away in a vicious
facility where death seems to be the only way out – until
the escape anyway! And that scene…you have to see it to
believe it! Thunder is on the warpath again and this time he
has exploding arrows! Walter Rizzati provides the restrained
(and occasionally familiar) score this time around. It’s
patently absurd! It’s unimaginably ludicrous! It’s
even more cheesy good times than the first! It’s Thunder
2 and we have it for you just the way you want it – totally
uncut, widescreen, and in English language with Japanese subtitles.
THUNDER 3
Also Known As
THUNDER WARRIOR III
Directed by Fabrizio De Angelis (As Larry Ludman) in 1988
Starring Mark Gregory, John Phillip Law and Werner Pochath
Just as your mind stops reeling from the final moments
of Thunder 2, here comes part 3! Thunder is back yet again
and this time he isn’t alone! It all starts when
a group of ridiculously sadistic redneck militant survivalists
led by Pochath (?!) burn down an Indian community and
send the people scattering to the hills. They murder horses,
try to kill a young child, and whip Thunder within an
inch of his life! The law offers no help so Thunder begins
to exact his revenge on the town. When things go too far
and a man called Magnum kidnaps Thunder’s hairy
arm-pitted wife the whole Indian community will go to
war! This is the most racially slanderous, the most over
the top, the most ridiculously far fetched, the most inadvertently
hilarious Thunder yet! It’s a damn trash classic!
You have to see some of the miniature work to believe
it and man, oh, man… that dialogue! This is the
kind of movie that creates bad-film aficionados! Although
the whole thing is shockingly absurd on just about every
level, there is something really entertaining about all
this. For those unfamiliar with the tag line on the domestic
version it went something like – “They took
his wife… but he’s still Walking Tall, they
drew First Blood, but he’s Fighting Back like Billy
Jack!” That may not be it exactly, but it’s
very close. And really, that about says it all! The soundtrack
on this installment is a collection of previously used
tunes from Francesco De Masi’s career. Strangely,
it might be the best soundtrack of the three. Thunder
3 is presented totally uncut, widescreen, and in English
language with Japanese subtitles.

Famed Spanish director Leon Klimovsky delivers another
Italian/Spanish Western that stands out a tad different
than your usual Spaghetti yarn. Martin Rojas (Spoletini)

some surprising twists along the way and at one point,
the ruthless thugs hold several people of the town hostage

movie! Tons of fist fights, martial arts, shootouts and

TIGER JOE
Also Known As
TFUGA DALL’ARCHIPELAGO MALEDETTO
Directed by Antonio Margheriti (credited as Anthony Dawson)
Starring David Warbeck, Annie Belle, Tony King, Luciano
Pigozzi, Rene Abadeza and Giancarlo Badessi
David Warbeck rules as pilot Tiger Joe, an illegal gunrunner
in Vietnam. On one of his last trips before retirement his
plane is shot down where he hooks up Annie Belle, a humanitarian
rebel. From there on out it is one adventure after another
as Warbeck and gang run into a man eating tiger, a house
full of deadly cobras, and troops of NVA wherever they turn!
Lots of fighting and explosions ensue as Tiger Joe works
with the resistance to get back to civilization! Joe’s
flamboyant boss, fellow pilot Midnight (Tony King), and
sidekick/mechanic Little Man (Luciano Pigozzi) come to his
rescue, but they all soon find themselves deep in enemy
territory helping a handful of refugees and children across
the border and blowing up a bridge in the enemy stronghold
Kwai style! Margheriti doesn't hold back on the action (with
some scenes from his earlier classic The Last Hunter) as
it builds at a neck-breaking pace until the explosive final!
Now you can enjoy this Italian Vietnam War classic where
friendship runs deep and the bloodshed runs deeper completely
uncut and letterboxed in English Language with Japanese
subtitles.
TOO BEAUTIFUL
TO DIE
Also Known As
SOTTO IL VESTITO NIENTE 2 Il
NOTHING UNDERNEATH 2
THEY ONLY COME OUT AT NIGHT
Directed by Dario Di Piana in 1988
Starring Florence Guerin, Francois-Eric Gendron, Giovanni
Tamberi and Gioia Scola
This late entry in the gialli cycle
offers a lot more style than many other films made in
the same period. It combines a little sleaze, some very
stylish cinematography and a ton of gorgeous models
together into a very slick package! Too Beautiful To
Die is centered around a group of ambitious vixens,
their always-angling agent, and a music video director
working on his latest masterpiece. Things take a sleazy
turn when the agent sets up one of his ‘special
parties’ for a rich, old, sicko entrepreneur with
whom he trades the ladies sexual favors for powerful
influence… whether the women want to or not! On
one such occasion this ends in the savage rape (that
the other girls help with) and death (under mysterious
circumstances) of a new actress/model! Now, someone
is taking violent revenge on everybody who was there
the night she died! Twists and turns, some bloody murders,
and more nudity and 80’s-style music than you
can handle! The soundtrack is all over the place from
pop tunes to Psycho-style theme music to smooth, cool
jazz by Roberto Cacciapaglia! This is definitely a title
gialli fans will want to add to their collection and
you can now enjoy it totally uncut, widescreen and in
English with Japanese subtitles.

TOP LINE
Also Known As
Alien Terminator
Directed by Nello Rossati in 1988
Starring Franco Nero, Deborah Moore, Mary Stavin, William
Berger and George Kennedy
Franco Nero plays Ted Angelo,
a down on his luck writer drinking his way into oblivion
down in Columbia. Hustling anyone for money, a local
fisherman friend brings him a treasure hoping to sell
it. He takes Ted to where he found the gold, high
up in the mountain, inside a cave where an ancient
boat resides in a crashed UFO! Before Ted knows it,
he's mixed up with aliens, robots and a deadly conspiracy!
Five years before The X-Files, director Rossati and
Nero made a great movie that seems almost lifted by
the popular television series! With every government
official keeping the aliens a secret, Ted faces one
deadly encounter after another as he's framed for
murder and chased by the police and Columbian military.
The only one he can turn to is the beautiful Deborah
Moore, the daughter of a local historian who Ted first
tells his discovery to and then becomes the first
victim that Ted is framed for murdering. Lots of great
80's effects and an excellent Terminator like robot
chase through the villages of Columbia. The aliens
are nasty looking thanks to the efforts of FX artists
Francesco and Gaetano Paolocci. This Italian adventure-science-fiction-espionage-action
flick has got something for just about everyone! Damn
entertaining, we bring you another great Franco Nero
film completely uncut, widescreen and in English with
Japanese subtitles.

Pigozzi (credited as Alan Collins), Antonio Marsina, David
Brass, Mike Monty and Edoardo Margheriti
Sergeant Maggio of the Green Berets
is on his fourth tour of duty in Vietnam and if anybody
knows the score… It’s him! Watching his commanding
officer use fellow soldiers as cannon fodder for the enemy
to make himself look good to the politicians back at the
Pentagon, Maggio strikes back! Unfortunately, this leads
to his arrest. Taken prisoner, he gets his chance to run
for the Cambodian border when his transport is attacked
(train bombing courtesy of The Last Hunter). Now he must
survive the odds, tough terrain, the VC and his own troops
as they all hunt him down in a race to freedom or a one
on one fight to the finish! Margheriti spices up the action
with lots of downbeat and horrifying scenarios including
children bombings, a pit full of rabid rodents and some
serious slices of gore courtesy of Demons/Demons 2 make
up artist Giacinto Bretti! Luciano Pigozzi is his usual
likeable self as a rebellious reporter on Maggio's side
and look for a great supporting part from Zombi 3's Mike
Monty! Forget all those cut, fullscreen, or improperly
widescreen prints at 1.85:1! Now you can enjoy Margheriti's
Vietnam Classic completely uncut and letterboxed correctly
at 2.35:1 in English Language with Japanese subtitles.

ATTN: Buy the first 3
volumes of TREASURE ISLAND FROM OUTER SPACE and we'll automatically
throw in the fourth and final volume for free!
TREASURE ISLAND IN OUTER SPACE PART 1
Also Known As
L’ISOLA DEL TESORO
STAR LEGEND
Directed by Antonio Margheriti in 1987
Starring Itaco Nardulli, David Warbeck, Philippe Leroy, Anthony
Quinn, Ida Di Benedetto, Giovanni Lambardo Radice (AKA John Morghen),
Ernest Borgnine, Biagio Pelligra, Bobby Rhodes, Sal Borgese and
Al Yamanouchi
Now that, that’s some kind of cast! This is exactly what
the title indicates; it’s Treasure Island except that the
story now takes place in outer space! All the familiar characters
are present: Jim, Long John Silver, etc. The big difference is,
of course, the science fiction setting and though far from perfect,
as handled by Margheriti, the whole thing is more than enjoyable.
In this first volume, we are introduced to young Jim while he
makes his way uneventfully through life. When the aging and distinctly
suspicious pirate Billy Bones arrives with a treasure map that
everybody wants a piece of, Jim’s world will be turned upside
down forever! Warbeck is the doctor that helps make it possible
for our heroic adventurers to set out on their quest to find the
lost treasure of Captain Flint! The crew is assembled, the ship
is ready to disembark, and young Jim is surrounded on every side
by danger! See Part 2 and find out what happens next! Though barely
released to video around the world in the first place, when finally
made available it was almost always the shortened version that
ran between two and a half and three hours. Treasure Island In
Outer Space was originally shown as a mini-series on Italian television
and ran much longer than that! When enjoyed uncut the running
time is nearly 7 hours! That’s a mighty big difference and
unedited is the way we offer it to you! This is disc 1 of 4 and
runs approximately 102 minutes. Presented in English language
with Japanese subtitles.
TREASURE ISLAND IN OUTER SPACE PART 2
Also Known As
L’ISOLA DEL TESORO
STAR LEGEND
Directed by Antonio Margheriti in 1987
Starring Itaco Nardulli, David Warbeck, Philippe Leroy, Anthony
Quinn, Ida Di Benedetto, Giovanni Lambardo Radice (AKA John Morghen),
Ernest Borgnine, Biagio Pelligra, Bobby Rhodes, Sal Borgese and
Al Yamanouchi
As the voyage gets underway, Jim is a target of the crew during
their idle time in space but it isn’t long before the problems
of the ship are far greater than that! Lives are lost and tolerances
are tested while Jim is forced to come to terms with his circumstances.
Also, he begins to recognize that his friends are perhaps not everything
they appear to be. Danger still surrounds him, but now Jim is much
more adept at recognizing its origins. While innocence fades away
and the heroes begin to realize their complete minority, anxiety
is the mood that prevails on the ship. Some truth about Billy Bones
begins to crawl through to the surface as well. Jim must find great
inner strength as he journeys even deeper into the far reaches of
space with a crew whose ultimate purpose is cloudy and uncertain!
As much as the first part was about set up and introduction is how
much this volume concerns itself with characterization. There are
some great Das Boot style scenes of the ship and crew in danger
(complete with bursting pipes and all) that add some tension and
a noticeably larger number of special effects and miniatures. If
you enjoyed the first disc then this is a must since the story really
starts taking off here. Though barely released to video around the
world in the first place, when finally made available it was almost
always the shortened version that ran between two and a half and
three hours. Treasure Island In Outer Space was originally shown
as a mini-series on Italian television and ran much longer than
that! When enjoyed uncut the running time is nearly 7 hours! That’s
a mighty big difference and unedited is the way we offer it to you!
This is disc 2 of 4 and runs approximately 104 minutes. Presented
in English language with Japanese subtitles.
