MIAMI GOLEM
Also Known As
MIAMI HORROR
COSMOS KILLER
Directed by Alberto De Martino (credited as Martin Herbert) in 1985
Starring David Warbeck, Laura Trotter and John Ireland
This is a very underrated movie that is part science fiction horror and part paranoid action thriller. Warbeck is a reporter who has been jaded by the hopelessness and pain he has seen so he tends to take the quieter interview oriented jobs now. His latest assignment is to talk to a doctor who has used matter collected from a meteor to create a new form of life! It’s just a cell, but it’s alive and they hope to gather invaluable information from it. A man named Anderson steals the cell and expedites its growth with the help of his own doctors; he recognizes the potential force of the resultant being and his desire is to control the entire planet! Warbeck is summoned by inter-dimensional extraterrestrials that want him to destroy the monster before it gains enough power to destroy worlds! There are others who have been recruited, including a woman with psychic abilities of her own! Great stuff from De Martino complete with nudity and gore, not to mention the cool special effects from Sergio Stivaletti! Released in the United States with editing mistakes and repeated scenes (!?), this properly put together version is the only one to see! Our excellent quality print is uncut, widescreen, and in English language with Japanese subtitles.

MISTER DEATHMAN
Directed by Michael D. Moore in 1977
Starring David Broadnax and Stella Stevens
Broadnax stars as Graves, a secret agent sent to South Africa to rescue a scientist with advanced knowledge on a specialized space project. Graves gets the man back but he’s broken in both mind and spirit. It’s clear that his captors got the information they wanted and the return of the scientist was only a ploy to get Graves off the trail of the evil organization (run by the sinister Mister Czee) and their true plans for power and dominance the world over! There are plenty of high-action set pieces that involve mountains, coastal death traps, cars, helicopters, jet fighters (and much more) that are sure to satiate the adrenaline junkie side of any thrill seeking B-movie fan! The acting and story are pure classic drive-in style trash, but it sure isn’t boring! Also, the revelation of the true identity of Czee is a real shocker! Funky seventies style music highlights the numerous chases and explosions and that ain’t a bad thing! Look for Kill or be Killed’s James Ryan in a pre-credits role as a thug who gets humbled by our intrepid James Bond style hero! Virtually a lost title, we proudly resurrect yet another forgotten classic from times gone by and present it to you in great quality! Enjoy Mister Deathman in English language with Japanese subtitles.

THE NARC
Also Known As
MARK IL POLIZIOTTO
MARK THE NARC
MARK THE COP
BLOOD, SWEAT AND FEAR
Directed by Stelvio Massi in 1975
Starring Franco Gasparri, Lee J. Cobb, Sara Sperati and Giampiero Albertini
A classic! Gasparri owns the role of Mark Terzi, a cop from the Dirty Harry school of thinking. Inspector Terzi has been working a long time on a case that has led him close to the top narcotics handlers in Milan. The problem is that he can’t break the case open by conventional methods so he begins to handle things his way. When Terzi starts making notable progress very bad things begin to happen to the people around him. Also, he has a young woman named Irena at his apartment that he essentially rescued near the top of the film. She was high on heroin and in shock when the police arrived while the guy she started out with floats in the pool, murdered via the introduction of some tainted drugs. Irena is also indirectly connected to what Terzi is involved with and that leads to yet more trouble. Cobb is the bad man at the top and he has no intention of letting any fired-up inspector stand in the way of his investments! There’s a lot more to it, but we won’t ruin it here. The Narc is a true high-point in the Italian crime genre. It features blazing action, intense drama, biting suspense, plenty of serious ass kicking, a top-of-the-line musical score courtesy of Maestro Stelvio Cipriani, and some impressively stylistic direction from Stelvio Massi. A new favorite around here for all these reasons and more… One exceptional highlight (of many); Terzi unloads his magnum into a carload of bank robbers as they try to make their escape, when the car loses control and is flipped it begins to slide down the street towards our hero who simply steps aside and watches the wreckage go by! Fantastic! We are proud to present the hyper-rare The Narc (the first title in a three movie series) to you in English language with Greek subtitles.

NECRONOMICON
Also Known As
NECRONOMICON: BOOK OF THE DEAD
Directed by, in order, Christophe Gans, Shusuke Kaneko and Brian Yuzna (who also directed the wraparound story) in 1993
Starring Jeffrey Combs, Richard Lynch, Maria Ford, Bruce Payne, David Warner, Signy Coleman and Don Calfa.
Excellent anthology film based on the works of Howard Phillips Lovecraft that is as grisly as it is effective. Lovecraft sneaks into a forbidden room in a very old library to have a look at the ancient Necronomicon so that he may use the information within as a resource for his stories; stories he believes are firmly grounded in reality. Lovecraft’s use of the tome as his personal muse leads us first to The Drowned. Lots of heavy atmosphere in this tale of men who are overcome by both grief and guilt. The unfathomable depths of their pain lead them each to seek the help of the Necronomicon, but that which is given back to them is not the same as what was first lost! The second tale is a strange one entitled The Cold. It concerns the experiments of Dr. Madden, a man who, as it turns out, is well over a century old! It’s a trade off though since he must murder anybody he can get his hands on and drink the fluid from their spines! The temperature must always be kept icy as well otherwise very gross and painful things start to happen! A young girl moves into the doctor’s building and when they share a night together the result is… ?? The final story is called Whispers and concerns ancient creatures that consider human bone marrow a delicacy and also use the minds of their victims to be reborn! Signy Coleman is a pregnant police officer trying to find her partner/lover in the underground caverns where these creatures live after he is dragged away by a serial killer nicknamed ‘The Butcher’! A horde of creative geniuses help bring Necronomicon to life and it’s fantastic to see so many of these F/X in one place! In a time when CGI is everywhere a movie like Necronomicon is a kind of port in the storm for us old-timers! A continuing sense of an almost oppressive menace only adds to the fun and now you can enjoy it totally uncut and in widescreen format! We have included the gory Japanese trailer as a special bonus and it's all in English language with Japanese subtitles.

THE NEW GODFATHERS
Also Known As
I CONTRABBANDIERI DI SANTA LUCIA
Directed by Alfonso Bescia in 1979
Starring Mario Merola, Gianni Garko, Antonio Sabato and Sabrina Siani
When a crime lord attempts to smuggle a huge amount of heroin through Italy and into America, a sympathetic International customs officer must turn to Don Francesco for help. Francesco is a man of honor, connected, and is in charge of most of the smuggling operations that bring illegal cigarettes into Naples. Neither of them wants the drugs to pass through the city to begin with, but things take a serious turn when a botched attempt at murder leaves a young child near death. Now, an unstoppable revenge is the only goal of The New Godfathers! Look for Edmund Purdom and Lorraine De Selle (who provides some of the nudity) in smaller roles. Fantastic car chases and plenty of violence highlight this hidden gem of an Italian crime film. We offer this with a special bonus trailer for the Mafioso epic I Kiss The Hand. Uncut widescreen print in English with Japanese subtitles.

NOSFERATU IN VENICE
Also Known As
NOSFERATU A VENEZIA
VAMPIRE IN VENICE
Directed by Augusto Caminito in 1988
Starring Klaus Kinski, Christopher Plummer, Barbara De Rossi, Anne Knecht, Yorgo Voyagis and Donald Pleasence
Klaus Kinski returns in this semi-sequel to Werner Herzog's 1979 Nosferatu! This time around, the prince of darkness is summoned 200 years later by the heir of his true love during a séance. Leaving nothing in his wake, he journeys homebound to Venice in order to either reunite with the exotically beautiful Barbara De Rossi or yearn for death in utter turmoil within his own curse as he reflects; "Time has no meaning in a life that never ends." A great cast including Christopher Plummer in the Van Helsing role as Professor Paris Catalano and the hypocritical religious priest Don Alvise played superbly by Donald Pleasance. Despite the original director Mario Caiano being fired and replaced by producer Augusto Caminito (with directorial help from Luigi Cozzi, Maurizio Lucidi and Klaus Kinski) there is a great cast and some incredibly atmospheric cinematography by Tonino Nardi. Also, there is a rousing soundtrack by Luigi Ceccarelli contributing to one of the better European vampire films from the 80's! Not to mention the erotically charged (and frequently nude) beauty of both Barbara De Rossi and Anne Knecht! You can now enjoy this title widescreen, uncut and in English language with Japanese subtitles.

NOTHING UNDERNEATH
Also Known As
SOTTO IL VESTITO NIENTE
Directed by Carlo Vanzina in 1985
Starring Tom Schanley, Renee Simonsen, Donald Pleasance, Nicola Perring
Bob Crane has a psychic link with his fashion-model sister who happens to be in Milano, Italy. When he gets a flash of her murder, he's off to Europe to find her. Slightly different and better than your average gialli, we get sex, murder and beautiful women as a killer knocks off one victim after another with a large pair of scissors. Donald Pleasance adds more class to the proceedings as a retiring detective who wants to help Crane, but isn't given much to go on. Despite the clues, Crane runs into one red herring after another and keeps the viewer from guessing the shocking truth! The murders are stylish, not tacky or ultra-gory, but the motives are as sleazy as they come. This would make a great companion piece to TOO BEAUTIFUL TO DIE and FASHION CRIMES. Tons of twists and turns as we get a glimpse into fashion modeling and the seedy trappings underneath! We are proud to present NOTHING UNDERNEATH uncut and Widescreen, in English with Japanese subtitles..

This time around the story takes a turn as Fiorenza Marchegiani's character dumps Merli and focuses in on Tony Musante! She's now trying to lead Musante in the right direction for British intelligence without him becoming aware she is involved. Merli discovers his girlfriend is in on it and she's discovered she may not have been working for the British Intelligence after all. Musante's questioning turns up several kinds of leads for the Italian police and Merli, not to mention their torture tactics used on Sonya's father! If they can’t, the military has already conceived a plan to destroy the entire city and make it look like an unfortunate accident. They would rather sacrifice those lives than see a virus of such destructive power spread throughout the world. The citizenry becomes violent, the monster becomes hungry, and time is running out for everybody! The beautiful Janet Agren portrays the biologists assistant who frantically races against the clock to find an antidote. For those who are familiar with the truncated domestic release this version will be a real surprise as it contains plenty of gore and nudity completely removed from other available prints! PREDATORS OF THE MAGIC STONE
Directed by Tonino Ricci (credited as Anthony Richmond) in 1988
Starring Chris Ahrens, James Mitchum, Thomas Irving, Franklin Dominguez and Clarissa Mendez

It’s directed by Tonino Ricci, written by Dardano Sacchetti, produced by Fabrizio De Angelis, has Paolo Ricci on the special effects crew, features a cool soundtrack by Stefano Mainetti and is easily one of the wildest and most unexpected Italian movies to come along in quite a while! Hold on to something secure because it’s going to be a fast ride… There are these two hardcore Vietnam vets who survive as mercenaries and they are approached by a mysterious old Chinese man with an offer for a job that pays a quarter of a million dollars. It goes like this; they must fight their way through the jungles near the border of Cambodia and seek out a region known as “the hell from which no one returns”. After finding that no-man’s-land, the goal is to seek out a hidden underground temple guarded by an ancient sect of black magic monks that more-than-slightly resemble zombie apes and explode when you kill them too many times! Wait, there’s still more… In this temple is a tablet that’s supposed to be recovered and handed over to the man who hired them, because allegedly if he doesn’t get it back his family will be cursed for a thousand years. Of course, none of that is true! This is one evil old man! Upon locating the temple, our heroes also inadvertently rescue the beautiful ‘sacred keeper of the celestial peace’ who was about to be sacrificed so that the evil powers of the tablet could be unleashed full force upon the Earth! Then there are the ninjas, the massive body count and… and… Man, you just really have to see this one for yourself! Fans of Italian adventure/action/horror/fantasy movies will NOT want to miss this! Best of all, Digital Conquest is proud to offer you the fully uncut and widescreen print of this strange and fantastically entertaining movie in English language with Japanese subtitles.

RAVAGERS
Directed by Richard Compton in 1979
Starring Richard Harris, Art Carney, Anthony James, Ann Turkel, Woody Strode and Ernest Borgnine
Richard Harris stars as Falk in this excellent post apocalyptic tale set in the not too distant future. Falk travels through the wastelands seeking some sort of meaning in his life, looking for some sort of hope, but after his love Miriam is killed he desires only to be left alone. Unfortunately, for a loner, he's pretty down on his luck! It seems that wherever he goes people want to follow him… and kill him. Most of all, the Ravagers, a roaming group of nihilistic murderers that want him more than anyone! It doesn't help that Falk killed the Ravager gang leader’s favorite boy toy! Along the way, Falk picks up Sergeant (Art Carney) (who mistakes him as his Major) and Faina (Humanoids From The Deep's Ann Turkel), a beautiful woman who sees more in Falk than he sees in himself. With the Ravagers closing in, Falk may find the salvation he is looking for when he runs into Brown (Woody Strode) and Rann (Ernest Borgnine). They seem to have some sort of plan aboard their giant tanker ship. With religious overtones and desolate locales, Ravagers turns one man's sorrowful journey into a powerful cautionary tale and a rousing epic adventure! You can now enjoy Ravagers uncut in English language with Japanese subtitles.

THE REBEL
Also Known As
PRONTO AD UCCIDERE
Directed by Stelvio Massi in 1980
Starring Maurizio Merli, Jutta Speidel, Francisco Rabal, Ottaviano Dell’Acqua and Bobby Rhodes
Exceptional entertainment! Merli is a cop on the verge of giving it all up for a life of peace, but a friend who works as a personal bodyguard begs him to help out on a big job. Wealthy and important industrialists have been assassinated the world over and two recent clients were the latest targets! Merli reluctantly agrees but things go horribly wrong and his friend ends up dead. Now driven by the need for both closure and revenge, Merli’s Nick Rossi goes deep undercover posing as an ambitious crook so that he can discover what his friend died for and put a final stop to it. All this is little more than the set-up for the masterfully told story yet to come. Though the action set pieces are stunning, Massi focuses on building character and dramatic power. These goals are accomplished with tremendous success! Intensity, emotion, and another cooler than smooth soundtrack from Stelvio Cipriani really bring The Rebel to life in a big way! Crime fans seeking nothing but action scene after action scene might not find what they are looking for, but we recommend this one to just about everybody else! Fantastic! We are very proud to bring you The Rebel uncut (Watch out for cut prints! Ours runs 104 minutes!), in the widescreen format and in English language with Japanese subtitles.

RISKING...
Also Known As
PRONTO AD UCCIDERE
Directed by Franco Prosperi in 1976
Starring Ray Lovelock, Martin Balsam and Elke Sommer
Lovelock stars as Massimo, a young undercover cop with a taste for violence and a thirst for revenge! Massimo gets himself arrested and quickly infiltrates the ranks of the underworld figure serving a sentence. Eventually a breakout is planned and Massimo is to be included. Just about as soon as they hit the street an attempt is made on the boss’ (Martin Balsam) life. Massimo acts quickly in helping to save him and that’s the in he has been waiting for. The hope of the police and our hero is that he can dig deep enough into the organization to bring them all crashing down at the perfect moment! And there are other reasons behind Massimo’s willingness to do whatever it takes; when he was a fresh rookie some racketeers on the run shot his mother in the back causing her to become handicapped for the rest of her life. If those men are found there’ll be hell to pay! The action in this fast-paced Italian crime thriller never seems to stop! Car chases, gun battles (splashy ones at that thanks to the talents of Giuseppe Ferranti), vicious fights… It comes on like a speeding train! Along with all the violent action is the strength of Balsam’s performance, just as expected! The soundtrack’s crime-jazz is urgent and cool, especially during the chases! Sommer is on hand throughout the later half of the movie to provide, among other things, some of the nudity and though her role is significant it is essentially a cameo. Enjoy this great title totally uncut and in English language with Greek subtitles.
