IN THE EYE OF THE HURRICANE
Also Known As
LA VOLPE DALLA CODA DI VELLUTO
Directed by Jose Maria Forque in 1971
Starring Jean Sorel, Rosanna Yanni, Analia Gade and Tony
Kendall
Ruth decides to leave her unhappy marriage behind and start
over again with a man named Paul. At first they are living
the high life together but a strange series of near fatal
accidents causes concern. Ruth begins to wonder if her husband
Michel is trying to take his revenge on Paul for stealing
his wife away? As if she didn’t have enough troubles
already, there is a mysterious woman following Ruth’s
every move. This Italian/Spanish co-production is a masterfully
designed erotic mystery that uses the exotic locals to maximum
effect. A rare and satisfying treat for gialli fans with
an intricate plot, some truly pleasing-to-the-eye cinematography,
and fine performances from the entire cast. Cut from the
same mold as Umberto Lenzi’s A Quiet Place To Kill,
though decidedly sleazier, now you can see this excellent
film uncut, widescreen, and in English with Dutch subtitles.
JIBOA
Also Known As
JIBOA IL SENTIERO DEI DIAMANTI
Directed by Mario Bianchi (credited as Stuart Murphy) in 1989
Starring Rick Dean, Bobby Rhodes and Carolina Alvarado
Ambitious Italian adventure movie about a man named Mark and
his quest to find the ‘City of Emeralds.’ It’s
a place he remembers having been before, though not very clearly
as something took place there that left him unconscious. Mark
was saved thanks to local natives and was then chased from
their village by a madman in a helicopter. There are others
who want him to remember also and if he doesn’t guide
them to the riches they’ll kill him and his female companion.
Worse yet, the more Mark is able to remember the more he realizes
how wrong things have really gone! There’s a little
violence, a little nudity, and plenty of scenic adventure
throughout this little known and competently made movie. This
quality print is available to you now in the widescreen format
and in English language with Japanese subtitles.

JUST A DAMNED SOLDIER
Also Known As
SOLDATO MALEDETTO
Directed by Ferdinando Baldi (credited as Ted Kaplan) in 1988
Starring Peter Hooten, Mark Gregory and Christine Leigh
A group of highly trained mercenaries breaks into a guarded
base and steals a literal truckload of unrefined gold that they
then give to friendly revolutionaries in exchange for good old-fashioned
cash. The man in charge of the operation is moved beyond anger
by this act of outright insult and is ready to use an entire
army for revenge if necessary! As fate would have it the two
men at odds have years of hatred between them already and there
is only one possible outcome when they meet; somebody will have
to die! Surrounding the story is ferocious non-stop action and
pyrotechnics – all leading to a truly impressive body
count! Mark Gregory is as cool as always and there is such an
abundance of action that you rarely get a chance to catch your
breath! Elio Polizzi’s score is so upbeat and lively that
it’s nearly a contradiction to the massive amounts of
carnage taking place on the screen. This very rare and highly
entertaining movie is now available to you uncut, widescreen,
and in English language with Japanese subtitles.
KARATE WARRIOR

IL RAGAZZO DAL KIMONO D'ORO
FIST OF POWER
THE BOY IN THE GOLDEN KIMONO
Directed by Fabrizio De Angelis (as Larry Ludman) in 1987
Starring Kim Rossi Stuart (as Kim Stewart), Ken Watanabe, Jannelle
Barretto, Jared Martin, Enrico Torralba and Janet Agren.
Anthony, a nice but naive kid with a smart
mouth gets more than he can handle when visiting his estranged
father in the Philippines. Before they even meet, he's mugged
and beaten, but that doesn't get his spirit down! He meets
a nice girl and gets on the bad side of Quino, a local thug
who extorts money from local businesses! Quino also happens
to be a fighting champion in the ring! The whole town is scared
of him, but not Anthony! That is...until he gets the crap
beat out of him several times. With the help of an ex master
in the arts of karate, he will face Quino in the ring for
revenge and justice! While it may sound similar to a certain
Ralph Macchio series this movie benefits from a faster pace,
great locals, exciting motorcycle stunts, ultra violent fighting,
and a great supporting cast including Janet Agren! More than
enough to spawn four sequels in fact! We are proud to bring
you this rare widescreen version uncut and in English language
with Japanese subtitles.
KILLER COP
Also Known As
LA POLIZIA HA LE MANI LEGATE
PORTRAIT OF A 60% PERFECT MAN
THE POLICE CAN'T MOVE
Directed by Luciano Ercoli in 1974
Starring Claudio Cassinelli, Arthur Kennedy, Sara Sperati,
Bruno Zanin, Franco Fabrizi, Francesco D'Adda and Giovanni
Cianfriglia
Cassinelli is Commissioner Matteo Rolandi, Killer Cop! While
on a routine narcotics detail in a high-class motel, a bomb
explodes killing several delegates and important politicians
that were attending a summit. Seen as an act of terrorism
perpetrated by rebels, the officials put Judge Arthur Kennedy
on the case since he has no known political leanings. When
Matteo's best friend and fellow officer gets a lead on the
bomber, and is killed for it, our hero goes into Killer Cop
mode… even after being told to stay off the case. Despite
the warnings from officials (Not to mention the witnesses
being killed one by one!) Matteo seems to stay one step ahead
of everyone else, that is, until he gets too close to the
truth! Corruption, assassinations, and deadly killers seem
to be in every aspect of the case not to mention several plot
twists, secret agendas and double agents playing both sides!
This is one very cynical Italian crime thriller that should
not be missed by aficionados of the genre. Luciano Ercoli's
pessimistic direction, along with Stelvio Cipriani's incredible
soundtrack, help create a very dark and sinister atmosphere
with a powerful message about the mixing of crime, power,
and politics. We are proud to bring you this downbeat and
impressive Italian thriller fully uncut, widescreen, and in
English language with no subtitles.

THE LAST MATCH
Also Known As
L’ ULTIMA PARTITA
Directed by Fabrizio De Angelis (credited as Larry Ludman)
in 1990
Starring Oliver Tobias, Ernest Borgnine, Melissa Palmisano,
Henry Silva, Martin Balsam and Charles Napier
A young girl is vacationing on a tropical island with
her boyfriend when a bag of drugs is planted in her luggage.
As she tries to get through the airport security dogs
sniff out the narcotics and she is placed in a filthy
prison run by Silva. Her dad is a football hero from the
states, but that just seems to make things worse when
he is trying to get people to help him free his daughter.
When he has nowhere else to turn, he still has his team
and his coach! Yep, they all fly down to help their buddy
and they have come armed to the teeth! Machine guns, rocket
launchers, grenades, helicopters, and Ernest Borgnine!
The attack on the prison is amazing to watch! They all
get in uniform, helmets and all, and essentially bum rush
the place (grunting hut hut hut) with the coach calling
the plays! Yeah, this is crazy stuff, but it sure is entertaining!
Watch for the scene where a grenade is placed in a football
and kicked at a helicopter! Classic! You aren’t
going to want to miss this unique film presented to you
uncut, in the widescreen format, and in English language
with Japanese subtitles.
THE LAST SHARK
Also Known As
L'ULTIMO SQUALO
GREAT WHITE
SHARK
Directed by Enzo G. Castellari in 1981
Starring James Franciscus, Vic Morrow, Micaela Pignatelli (credited
as Micky Pignatelli), Joshua Sinclair, Giancarlo Prete (credited
as Timothy Brent) and Stefania Girolami.
Giancarlo Prete (credited as Timothy Brent) and Stefania Girolami.
Probably one of the all time best (and most sought after) Jaws
clones from Italy! A 30-foot Great White has made a small seaside
town, known as Port Harbor, its feeding grounds just before
the annual Wind Surf Regatta. After the star surfer and a local
fisherman disappear, Franciscus and Morrow try and put a stop
to the festivities. Unfortunately, the mayor decides to go ahead
providing proper measures are taken. Only this great white doesn't
know when to quit and turns the Regatta into his own personal
human flesh smorgasbord! When the local teens, including Franciscus'
daughter and the Mayor's son, decide to kill the shark, things
go awry and now it's up to Franciscus and Morrow to seek revenge!
Castellari directs with a bigger than usual budget (including
a reported $4 million dollar advertising budget) featuring what
has got to be the largest shark prop in cinema history and another
fine score from the De Angelis brothers. Antonio (Piranha II,
Macabro) Corridori supplies the gruesome effects of people being
gnawed in half! Pulled from screen shortly after its original
U.S. theatrical release due to its obvious similarities to a
certain director's "Bruce", this great movie is now
available to you in its original uncut form, widescreen and
in English language with Japanese subtitles.
THE LAUGHING DEAD
Directed by S.P. Somtow in 1989
Starring Tim Sullivan, Wendy Webb and S.P. Somtow
First, the bad news… The acting is horrible, the dialogue
delivery in almost unbearable, the cut-out characters are
beyond annoying, and listening to the music is about as pleasant
as a testicle massage with a rusty cheese grater. Now, the
good news! If you can get past all of that garbage in the
first half of the movie you’ll be treated to some seriously
splatterific entertainment! A priest (whose faith has long
since been shaken) leads an archeological tour (?) that features
an introduction to the celebrations of a festival of the dead.
Aside from a bunch of irritating nobody-in-particulars, there
is a woman on the tour that used to be a nun… a nun
that the priest impregnated years ago! She’s brought
her son Ivan along because she felt it was time for everybody
to get together and know the truth… or something. So
yeah, you’ve got the love story to further grind away
at you. Things get exciting when the priest becomes possessed
and people begin to die in a myriad of graphic ways! There’s
monsters, splashy decapitations, zombies, heart removals,
crushed heads, chest tearing, and there’s even one character
whose arm is ripped off and shoved down his own throat! This
all leads to a demonic game of basketball where everybody’s
soul is at stake. Just so there are no misunderstandings,
this is not a very good movie. You’ve been warned! Still
unreleased in America, you can now enjoy (ahem) The Laughing
Dead in English language with Japanese subtitles.
LAURA
Also Known As
LA MOGLIE DI MIO PADRE
THE WIFE OF MY FATHER
CONFESSIONS OF A FRUSTRATED HOUSEWIFE
Directed by Andrea Bianchi in 1976
Starring Carroll Baker, Adolfo Celi, Cesare Barro, Luigi Pistilli, Femi Benussi and Jenny Tamburi
Laura and Antonio seem to be living the charmed life. They
appear to have everything, but looks can be deceiving. Antonio
is no longer able to satisfy his wife and it’s putting
their marriage under immeasurable strain. A good friend
(and doctor) of Antonio’s convinces him that he needs
a little variety and so the affairs begin, successfully.
Being caught red handed with an underage girl by Laura nearly
pushes everything over the edge but they figure on making
one final attempt to save their relationship. Claudio, Antonio’s
son, returns home to take over the business so that there
won’t be as much pressure from work getting in the
way of things. Little changes, and before long Laura and
Claudio find themselves experiencing feelings for each other!
The situation worsens until the shocking denouement brings
closure most final! Bianchi’s use of light and color
create strong dramatic moments and, at times, a disquieting
dreamlike feeling. The music of the talented Guido and Maurizio
De Angeles is top of the line, as always, and so is the
fantastic cast. Laura is a tale of passion, obsession, loneliness
and desperation; a joyous discovery for fans of Italian
erotica that deserves acknowledgment! In that spirit, we
are proud to present Laura to you widescreen and in English
language with Greek subtitles.
THE LEFT HAND OF THE LAW
Also Known As
LA POLIZIA INTERVIENE: ORDINE DI UCCIDERE
Directed by Giuseppe Rosati in 1975
Starring Leonard Mann, Antonella Murgia, James Mason, Franco
Interlenghi, Stephen Boyd, Enrico Maria Salerno, Andrea
Scotti and Janet Agren
Leonard Mann is Inspector Murri, a very complex man is many
ways and definitely an anti-hero. This man, though passionate
about what he believes in, is very clearly flawed. You get
mad at him, you root for him, and you identify with him.
There is one aspect of his life in which he is extremely
forthright and successful… his career as an officer.
He’s the captain of a special crime squad made up
of highly skilled individuals trained for nearly every eventuality.
Two of these men are caught off guard during an unexpected
kidnapping by a group of machine-gun wielding extremists
and are killed in the midst of the ensuing car chase. This
event sends the special squad into action in a huge way.
Murri becomes a driven man, constantly risking his life
as he pursues the truth; a truth that reaches higher than
he could have imagined and counting on assistance from is
not something that’s found to be as dependable as
it should be. When the blood of the innocent begins to run
in the streets Murri changes into an ice-cold, steely, walking
incarnation of vengeance! Unstoppable and single of purpose,
he will find the truth… no matter what the cost! And
you can be sure that in the end the price paid will be great!
This masterpiece should be considered required viewing for
Italian crime fans. Mann’s performance is absolutely
outstanding in a film that is able to be suspenseful, inspiring,
intense, surprising, violent, moving, and damn exciting
all at the same time. I sincerely hope that some sort of
soundtrack release is planned for the future because Paolo
Vasile’s musical contributions to this film are nothing
short of outstanding. Make-up is credited to Giuseppe Ferranti.
A personal favorite, it’s with great pride that we
present The Left Hand of the Law to you uncut, in the widescreen
format and in English language with Dutch subtitles.
MAN HUNT
Also Known As
CANE ARRABBIATO
MAD DOG
THE MANHUNT
Directed by Fabrizio De Angelis (credited as Larry Ludman) in
1985
Starring John Ethan Wayne, Ernest Borgnine, Henry Silva and Bo
Svenson
De Angelis is at it again with this mid-eighties prison break
film! What sets this one apart from all the rest is its Western-styled
themes as Ethan (son of John) Wayne gets set up on false horse
rustling charges by ranch owner Ernest Borgnine. Sentenced to
prison, Wayne meets psycho warden Henry Silva who finds pleasure
in watching his prisoners race back from work detail while being
chased by his rabid guard dogs! Wayne takes this as an opportunity
to get himself into shape in order to escape and run across the
Arizona desert! Unfortunately, once he gets back into town, Sheriff
Bo Svenson catches him and sends him back! The second time appears
to be the charm as Wayne steals a bus and sets out to prove his
innocence with the help of Borgnine, who has a sudden change of
heart, and a fellow inmate out on parole. Now it’s a showdown
between Silva and Wayne! Francesco De Masi provides an excellent
Italian Western style score and De Angelis' eye-of-the-desert
scenery really supplies an excellent backdrop to suit the son
of The Duke! Forget all those cut (by a full 8 minutes!) and fullscreen
domestic prints. We're proud to bring you this title in its original
widescreen format, uncut and in English with Japanese subtitles.
A MAN TO RESPECT
Also Known As
THE MASTER TOUCH
UN UOMO DA RISPETTARE
Directed by Michele Lupo in 1972
Starring Kirk Douglas, Florinda Bolkan, Giuliano Gemma and
Romano Puppo
Steve Wallace is a man who has just gotten out of jail, a
man about to make one final play, and above all else, A Man
To Respect! Douglas is brilliant in his role as a master thief
who turns down a job offered to him by an organization that
recognizes his particular talents. The first job he ever took
from them landed him in jail. Now that he knows what’s out
there it’s time to take it! To accomplish this without anyone
ever knowing he did it help is needed; enter Marco, but can
Marco truly be trusted? There are enough people against Steve
as it is! It’s very possible that Florinda Bolkan never looked
more alluring on screen than she does in this movie. Also
featured is another fantastic score by Ennio Morricone, Tonino
Delli Colli’s amazing cinematography, and a stunning car chase
(must be seen to be believed). There is enough action, emotion,
and twists to satisfy any Italian crime/heist enthusiast!
Previously, this has only been available fullscreen and in
some countries has been cut by nearly 15 minutes! You can
now see A Man To Respect the way that it was meant to be seen
with our great looking 110 minute letterboxed print! English
language with Japanese subtitles.
MARK COLPISCE ANCORA
Also Known As
MARK STRIKES AGAIN
MARK THE NARC 3
Directed by Stelvio Massi in 1976
Starring Franco Gasparri, John Steiner, Marcella Michelangeli,
John Saxon, Paul Muller and Malisa Longo
Gasparri returns again in this third and final installment
of the Mark The Narc series! Mark finds himself doing what
could essentially be called grunt work these days. A series
of coincidences leads him to a couple of terrorists who believe
he has the potential to aid them in their cause. Even when
given a chance to leave it behind by his superiors, Mark decides
that a little of the deep cover he is famous for might be
the only way to put an end to the activities of these political
extremists. John Steiner is the head of the group and is a
lot of fun to watch as he spouts off excitedly about helping
the regular guy through violent rebellion and anarchy. In
other words, he’s as crazy as ever! Saxon is a cop with
a hidden agenda of his own and he may not be all that he seems!
Things get way out of hand fairly quickly and Mark is once
again neck deep in trouble and that’s just the way he
likes it! Besides, we know if anybody can get the job done
its Mark! This is a weird one and, though solidly entertaining,
is clearly out of sync with the original two movies. The soundtrack
is cool but seems at times more fitting for one of Laura Gemser’s
Black Emanuelle films! Also, there are entire story sections
that recall popular American action/thrillers of the time.
For example, scenes in the middle feel like an abridged retelling
of Three Days of the Condor. Right after that fans of The
Taking of Pelham One Two Three may find themselves experiencing
a quick flashback. Still, when all is said and done, this
is Massi, Gasparri, and Mark! The ending feels right and wraps
up the serious on a definite high note. Plenty of action,
violent gunfights, John Saxon, and even Malisa Longo! Mark
Colpisce Ancora is available to you now in English language
with Greek subtitles.
LA MASCHERA DEL DEMONIO
Also Known As
BLACK SABBATH
DEMONS 5: THE DEVIL'S VEIL
Directed by Lamberto Bava in 1989
Starring Alessandra Bonarotta, Eva Grimaldi, Michael Soavi,
Giovanni Guidelli, Deborah Caprioglio and Laura Devoti.
Here is Lamberto Bava's tribute to his father's own Mask of
the Devil (aka Black Sabbath) that owes just as much to that
original landmark film as it does to the director's own Demons
series. A group of young skiers fall into an open ice crevice
only to discover a frozen body wearing an odd death mask.
Once removed, the group starts showing signs of odd behavior
until they find a path leading to a temple and a deserted
village with only one inhabitant, a 200 year-old blind priest!
Soon it's apparent that several of the members are possessed
by demons connected to a witch who was burned at the stake
hundreds of years ago! The priest tries to exorcise the demons
but all hell breaks loose including a very disturbing evil
sex scene you won't soon forget! Lots of nudity and special
effects in this movie that also boasts excellent direction
and incredible atmosphere from cinematographer Gianfranco
(Four Flies on Grey Velvet) Transunto. Even Sergio Stivaletti
is on hand to provide the astonishing creature and gore effects!
This incredibly rare Italian Telefilm is now available completely
uncut and in its original Italian language (ONLY Italian spoken,
no English speaking or English subtitles!) with Japanese subtitles.
MASSACRE TIME
Also Known As
TEMPO DI MASSACRO, COLT CONCERT
LE COLT CONTARONO LA MORTE
THE BRUTE AND THE BEAST
Directed by Lucio Fulci in 1966
Starring Franco Nero, George Hilton, Nino Castelnuovo and
Rina Franchetti
With a cast and crew like this you just can't go wrong!
An Italian western directed by Lucio Fulci from a screenplay
by Fernando Di Leo is more than enough, but add the acting
bravado of Franco Nero and George Hilton and you've got
one hell of a film! When Tom Corbett (Nero) gets a mysterious
letter to return home after being away for years, he comes
back to find his relatives living in poverty and the entire
town taken over by the rich and powerful Scott family. Trying
to find out what happened leads to a lot of bloodshed and
the revelation of dark secrets. This multi-layered western
doesn't just have your usual revenge motive; it throws in
some serious twists and brutal western violence to boot!
We can't stress enough how Massacre Time is absolutely no
holds barred! Once Tom hooks up with his alcoholic brother
(Hilton) and heads off to Scott's ranch, it's nonstop action
from one ambush to the next and they even end up fist fighting
each other! Add a very rousing score from Coriolano (Ballad
Of Django) Gori and director Fulci's talent for violent
action and you've got a true classic! We are proud to present
Massacre Time uncut, widescreen and in English with Japanese
subtitles.
MASTER OF THE WORLD
Also Known As
I PADRONI DEL MONDO
CONQUEROR OF THE WORLD
Directed by Alberto Cavallone in 1981
Starring Sven Kruger, Sasha D’Arc, Viviana Maria Rispoli and
Maria Vittoria Garlanda
Hundreds of thousands of years ago man was forced to fight
for everything he had and desired to keep. Food, a place to
live, women, or just simply surviving another day, it all
had to be earned. In the midst of the dawn of man we meet
Bok, a man who is simply trying to find the place where he
belongs. After nearly dying due to some severely infected
injuries a young girl from a less advanced tribe stays with
him to nurse him back to health. They bond and begin to travel
together across the mountains and plains. Again and again
they meet up with vicious foes that would like nothing better
than to decapitate our heroes! Soon the two travelers become
three and a different kind of attraction between Bok and his
new companion begins to manifest. Lots of problems and obstacles
are left as Bok and his friends look for a home, a people,
a purpose, and if the chance presents itself, revenge. Master
of the World is a surprisingly good movie. Beautiful locations
and cinematography are necessary successes for a movie such
as this and both are achieved. Aside from the impressive look
is the tangible sense of desperation, the electronic soundtrack
is very cool and the graphic effects you’ll see peppered
throughout the running time (designed by Rosario Prestopino)
are damn convincing! Those fake heads are some of the best
we have seen around here in a long time! The bear-fighting
scenes are also worth mentioning. Terrific entertainment is
abundant to be sure! Now you can enjoy this very rare movie
totally uncut and in the widescreen format! The only dialogue
in Master of the World is the narration that opens the film
and it’s presented in English with Japanese subtitles,
other than the introduction there is no discernable dialogue
or subtitling present.
THE MASTERS
Also Know As
GENTE DI RISPETTO
THE FLOWER IN HIS MOUTH
THE SCHOOLMISTRESS AND THE DEVIL
Directed by Luigi Zampa in 1975
Starring Jennifer O'Neill, Franco Nero and James Mason
This has probably got to be one of the most cynical and unsettling
titles in our catalogue! Paranoia runs rampant when a new
schoolteacher moves into a small Sicilian town. She isn't
accepted by anyone and everyone seems very superstitious.
But when someone publicly humiliates her, they end up murdered
and left to be found the next day in the town square! Soon
she appears to be in charge of the town as they fulfill her
orders, but it isn't as it all that it seems. Franco Nero
stands out as a cowardly teacher who becomes her lover and
James Mason as her caretaker/landlord seems to have ties into
everything despite being a recluse in his large house overlooking
the town. Part Italian Crime, part political thriller and
100% paranoia keeps everything intense until the final revelation
comes crashing down on everyone in the shocking conclusion.
The very rare movie is now available uncut, Widescreen, in
English with Greek subtitles.
MIAMI COPS
Directed by Alfonso Brescia (As Al Bradley) in 1989
Starring Richard Roundtree and Michael Aronin
The story begins when two partners who are staking out the
docks for smuggler activity end up in a life threatening gun
battle. Just when one of them gets the upper hand, the other
arrives to shoot everybody (including his partner) and keep
all the drugs and cash for himself! Five years later the son
of that officer who was betrayed has joined the force and
requests the narcotics division in an attempt to find the
one responsible for the death of his father. He is paired
up with a cop nicknamed P.O. (That stands for Pissed Off –
Played by Richard Roundtree.) who’s reluctant, to say
the least, to take on a rookie partner. The new guy, Robert,
slowly proves himself as the two would-be heroes follow a
trail of heroin all the way to the top dog himself, the criminal
ex-cop who did Robert’s father in! If Robert and P.O.
have anything to say about it, this traitorous villain will
pay the highest price possible for the wrongs he has done!
At first glance this may seem like just another cash-in and
little else. The truth is that Miami Cops is a pretty cool
movie with a great car chase, some serious ass kicking (it’s
always cool to watch Roundtree bust some heads), and a few
surprisingly graphic moments of violence in the final reels!
Watch for the chainsaw scene specifically! (Paolo Ricci provides
the effects.) Though it can’t be referred to as a classic
by any stretch of the imagination (even some of the calmer
music is lifted from the Shocking Dark soundtrack), Miami
Cops is still a lot of action-packed fun! This enjoyable title
is now available to you uncut, widescreen, and in English
language with Japanese subtitles.
